An Unforgettable Gift of Love

Forget perfume, chocolates and bath oils, "Gift" is a beautifully produced book of original love poems by local writers ranging from the internationally renowned, such as George Szirtes, right through to previously unpublished poets. It's fifty plus poems are printed on high quality Vancouver Cream paper, and at less that six square inches, it would easily slip into pocket, handbag, or perhaps even an envelope destined for a distant lover. Corbett, himself a poet, writing tutor and founder of Norwich's Caf? Writers, said it proves surprisingly easy to get friends and other writers to contribute to the project. He and co-editor (and co-contributor) Helen Ivory, poet and UEA Creative Writing Director, were so delighted with the material they received, their main problem was deciding what to leave out!
Since it's recent launch the book has been selling well but Valentine's Day seems like the perfect moment to give that special someone this very special gift.
